Fan Report — 『HIROKO SHIMABUKURO★ X’mas Live 2011』 on 12.25

Below is a brief fan report from a Japanese friend who attended hiro’s LIVE on 12.25!!!

Fan Report from a Japanese friend

While I was boiling some water to prepare my lunch at home, I got a mail on my mobile phone from a friend,
informing me that she has an extra ticket to hiro’s LIVE!
The sudden notice made me dashed out of my house soon after (laughs)

I entered the venue at about 230pm. Saw an Xmas tree on stage!
It was very beautiful, making me really feel like today is Xmas Day.

The band members (HIDEYUKI-san, RIKO-chan, 栗-chan etc etc) first came out, followed by hiro-chan.. She was wearing a white long piece dress with a white jacket, looking like a princess!!!

1. White Christmas
It was really beautiful!! Simply matches with hiro-chan’s voice.
Great opening song for this LIVE.

2. Brilliant

3. Send My Love for You
A song which I loved. I do not know much about weddings but I hope this song will be the No.1 song for weddings!
Didnt realised the music arrangement was different. Alot of emotions can be felt here.

hiro-chan introduced the band members, and a fan was heard saying ” hiro-chan is cute! “

4. Be Alright
This should be the first time this song was sang.
Though it was very high but her notes were beautiful~

5. Baby don’t cry
Was this song re-arranged?
I had not hear this song since the last 『歌うたい LIVE』, but it has become one of my favourites since then.
This is a song for Spring, but nice to hear it during Xmas too.

6. しあわせの道
The lyrics.. the melody.. the singing.. Everything about hiro-chan in this song is so cute!
heavenly song? (laughs)
Her english pronouciation was good.

7. love you
Another favourite song of mine! Too bad the sound was a little cracking (>_<)
hiro-chan appeared in a mini-skirt Santa outfit!!! Wearing a red hat, sitting on a chair~
there was a flower background video.

8.The Christmas Song （Coco d’Or）
Nice song! Is this a foreigner’s song? Jazz?
I like this cover done by hiro-chan.

hiro said : ” Imai-san of SPEED always like to go down the stage, throwing her hat down the stage..
but I am not going to do so.. as it is Xmas today (i specially liked the way she pronounced Xmas here).
Not very used to wearing skirt and so.. to not showing what should not be seen.. (laughs)

She took 2 roses out from the suitcases, and asked the fans to raise up their hands.

Yes, the young girl in front of me reacted really fast and hiro-chan chose her.
She got up the stage, shook hand with hiro-chan and was given the rose.

9. Over The Rainbow （Coco d’Or）
The chosen girl on stage has a cute voice.
She sang a little with hiro-chan and was given a warm hug! I am so envious!

Did she lower her keys???

A different arrangment!
After that during the MC, she mentioned about the different arrangment.

Then… This is the last song..
13. early passed time to winter
The moment she started singing, i was mesmerized by the beautiful voice.
Hmm.. don’t sound like the original version..?

It’s ENCORE time!
hiro-chan re-appeared on stage with the jacket (the same one in the goods list) and denim jeans,
her hair in a cute ponytail.

14. White Christmas with オルゴール (musical box)
She was singing while turning the musical box. Her vocals was so clear!
she ended the song with an acapella verse. Your mind feels so peaceful hearing such a voice.

15. 童神
I guessed this is a song originated from Okinawa? I dont exactly understand though I am a Japanese (laughs)
But i am really touched by the song.
At this moment, I feel very blissed to be a fan.

And.. The last ENCORE song..

16. サクラ
Ohh noo. I still do not have this song in my mp3 player.
But i did hear this song in the CAST broadcast.

At the end of the LIVE, hiro-chan walked from one end of the stage, to the other end,
bowing and thanking the fans ” I love all of you~ ” and ” Thank you! “

I really enjoyed watching hiro’s LIVE, especially on this festive occassion.
Proud to say that I spent a wonderful Xmas!
It was filled with warmth.
